Attorneys from Centro Legal de la Raza and the Newcomer Services Coordinator from the Hayward Unified School District and member of Alameda County’s Center for Healthy Schools & Communities will share about the increasing number of newcomer students enrolling in schools in the East Bay. Learn about the challenges facing students and their families and the collaborative strategies to support newcomers’ legal issues and related needs.
