The goal of this workshop is to deliver information on important topics that you will find useful in the performance of your professional duties.

Our executive board identified four specific areas and identified specific presenters for the workshop.

First,  Dora Dome and Jenee Littrell will be co-presenting.  Dora Dome, well known attorney in the Bay Area, will be coming down and delivering a presentation focusing on the topic of Title IX.  This is a topic that is impacting every school and district in the State of California everyday!   Her co-presenter Jenee Littrell is with the San Mateo County Office of Education.  Jenee is well known across the State of California for her work in Human Trafficking.  Jenee recently authored "Human Trafficking in American Schools" with the department of education.  This past spring, Jenne was named Citizen of the Year by the department of Justice and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Secondly, Robert Jacobsen, General Counsel for the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District will be presenting on a topic that will soon be at the forefront of CWA administrators throughout the state.  That topic is "Sanctuary Schools - Undocumented Students."

Finally, Gary Bell and Stacy Savoca, California Department of Education’s Office of Equal Opportunities, will be presenting after lunch on the topics of “Educational Equity and Federal Monitoring.”  This portion of the presentation will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about what to expect during an Education Equity Review.

We have placed a flyer with information and speaker bio's on our website at:
